Ready to Start Scanning:
- Make sure all the connections be ready
- Enter the patient information, enter the scanning interface, and select the dental arch to be scanned.
- Take the handpiece from the base, press the button, when the light becomes green means it is ready to start scanning.
[Caution] The scanner tip should be cleaned and disinfected after each use. Please follow the instructions of cleaning and disinfection to avoid cross-infection between patients.
There are four consecutive steps of images capturing:
- Occlusal surface
- Buccal side
- Lingual Side
- Mesial Side
Occlusal surface scanning Important: The distance between the scanning window of the scanner tip and the surface to be measured is required. The distance must be kept between 0 and 15mm (best distance: 5mm). The scanning tip should not be on the teeth or gums. If the distance is too long, data cannot be collected.

Buccal side scanning

The scanning tip is located near the adjacent tooth of the prepared tooth.
Buccal Side Scanning
Rotate the scanning tip toward the buccal surface, transitioning from a 45-degree to a 90-degree angle (maximum inclination).
Smoothly glide the scanning tip across the entire buccal surface of the dentition to ensure full data capture.
Lingual Side Scanning
Position the scanning tip near the teeth adjacent to the preparation site.
Rotate the tip from the 90-degree buccal orientation over the occlusal surface to the lingual side, maintaining an angle between 45 and 90 degrees.
Move the tip steadily across the entire lingual surface.
Proximal & Mesial Scanning
To capture high-quality images of the proximal contacts and adjacent teeth, tilt the scanning tip toward the mesial direction.
Important Reminders
Ensure all soft tissue is retracted. Gums should be clear of the teeth by approximately 1 to 2 mm to prevent interference with the digital margin.
Once the scan is complete, click the Next button to begin the optimization and calculation stage.
After the 3D model is generated, carefully inspect the final output. If any voids or missing data are detected, click Scan to capture the necessary areas and update the model.
